3 - A book. Not good. Not bad. Average.
4 - Really good book. Enjoyed it. Unique aspects. Multiple passages underlined and flagged.
5 - God tier. Will re-read. Will possibly own multiple copies (if translated).
When I pick up a book I automatically assume it will be a 3. From there it goes up or down. I really like using Storygraph because it gives the option for 1/4 star ratings.
