When I was a teenager and reading proper books about physics by physicists, my mom got me one of those illustrated kids books that are like “1000 Crazy Facts About the Universe” or something. It just made me feel so unseen.

Crescent City is a bit rough after ACOTAR, she does so much explaining the backstory that it takes forever to get to anything. Power through though, it grows on you!

I enjoyed the journey, but I was definitely waiting for his investigative work to pay off with some kind of twist, but then it was just actual reality, which wasn’t satisfying.
