Maybe it’s just not for you. There are people that love the books and there are people that hate the books. We can’t all like the same things…that would be boring.

Put the book away and move onto reading something you’ll enjoy.

I think he’s afraid to finish it. The ending of the HBO series wasn’t very well received so he’s probably avoiding working on it. He doesn’t want the backlash a second time.

I once read The Outsiders in an afternoon…but it’s a pretty short novel.
