Hollyhock didn’t cut bojack off because she was poisoned, she did it because overdoses seem to follow bojack.

Bojack repeatedly lied to her and showed many red flags. Although I think Hollyhock should’ve listened to Bojack about his abuse and why he doesn’t want to be near Beatrice, to her she just saw bojack verbally and mentally abusing a confused old lady who couldn’t defend herself.

Bojack then lied about taking drugs to help with his pain. Then she heard pete repeat’s story of his girlfriend’s alcohol poisoning, and then the public news of Sarah Lynn’s overdose and him waiting 17 minutes?

Even with the full context of bojack’s actions I would never go near him. And it’s not like she was the only one who cut him off in s6.

Bojack didn’t know that Todd was asexual yet. After everything bojack has done and Todd saw him do, it was just another sign that bojack did whatever he wanted regardless of consequences. And Todd at this time still liked Emily even if he didn’t want sex so it’s still betrayal.

Also Bojack did other things that led up to Todd lashing out.
