My three are authors I reread over and over because their books are to reading what comfort food is to eating for me - satisfying and fill a particular need in me at the time.
Terry Pratchett - Discworld is so much fun to visit.
Mercedes Lackey - some of her series are ones I read every year and there’s such a variety of subgenres from urban fantasy to epic fantasy and even one zombie story lol
Stephen King - I love a good horror story and even his meh books are pretty good.
I do this! Also I’m slowly replacing paper copies of my favorite rereading books with ebooks. Chronic tendinitis makes reading on my phone so much easier.
The Dragon and the George is an older book with a male protagonist. Also Magic Kingdom for Sale by Terry Brooks.
Read what you enjoy for sure. There’s no right or wrong things to read! I love YA and other light fantasy. I’ve enjoyed some ‘quality’ books too but a lot of ‘classic’ lit just isn’t interesting to me. I figure life is too short to slog through books I’m not interested in!
I Am Legend. I loved the movie so much I got the book and was super disappointed that it was so very… philosophical? Kind of? Anyway I did not enjoy it.
