Wait, when did Tech Jacket took down a Viltrumite? From what i remember he didn’t fare well against them, he just survived the fights he had and that’s it.
Honestly I think the comics handled it better. It showed to us how the Viltrumites are a force to be reckoned with and that Mark need desperately to train if he wants a fighting chance. Also that chase scene was sick, too bad we didn’t get to see that animated.
Minor spoilers:
! He wrote both. He started writing sci-fi stories but since they didn’t sell well he changed to travel guides. !<
You might wanna change that tittle to be more vague because it is a spoiler by itself.
As for you question i am confident the show will handle it pretty well, i hope they add some extra scenes to it, just how they developed Nolan’s relationship with the Debbie in season 1 and added that little arc of her finding out the truth, which was non existent in the comics.
THAT moment with Bulletproof and his parents
I think he’s just faking Allan’s death so the mole don’t tell the Viltrumites to finish the job. IIRC in the comics he kept Allan’s survival from their attack a secret from the start, so in reality it’s going to the same result, the only difference is that they added a dramatic scene to trick the viewers.
I don’t get why they choose to focus on Debbie’s and Donald’s storylines instead of Allen’s.
It would be a good way to hype the viewers up for the second part and would work better as a parallel to the Thraxa story. The audience would see that not only Nolan is changing but also >! that it’s actually possible for a Viltrumite to be good !<. And the confirmation that Allen is now >! On the Viltrumites’ power level !< would let show onlys curious to what’s gonna happens next.
