Midnight city was cool and the new Darkwing was great to see. His powers would definitely be great at stoping a Viltrumite.
Eve dad continues to be the worse. There comes a time to give up your pride and just take the hand out for the sake of your family. Seriously you daughter has powers, she can provide to. It no different than athletes or other gifted people using their gifts to provided for their family. Man has some serious issues.
Still sad to see that sink hole incident is now on Eve’s record. Which was sadly foreshadowed by how Eve didn’t think about code and regulation when repairing the building.
Still screw her father. Yeah her powers make her dangerous but she is actively using her powers for the betterment of man. She could do a whole lot more with her power that could make her a danger to the world. Her power is a tool, and with it she is using it to help than harm. And she is helping more than harming.
You think he’d accept a job offer if it came from his daughter. Man been struggling to accept anything from his daughter for years. He’d see it as another one of her hand outs. He would problem go, I would like to get a job on my own merit and not because you pulled some string. Valuing his pride more than his family like Walter White.
And also nothing good comes from cheating and short cuts, I don’t believe that. She has been doing a lot of good work when it came to environmental stuff. It was just that one incident that caused an unfortunate accident.
Most of what we do is basically cheating and taking short cuts at a global scale. Communication is almost instantaneous, food is readily available, and we have plethora of knowledge that dwarves anything we had in centuries. All of our engineering, knowledge, and tech helps us overcome obstacles that would have taking several hundreds of men and generations of family to complete.
Good can come out of short cuts and cheating. One of the basic ideas of engineering is we make stuff so we don’t have to work so hard. You just have to be cautious and be careful because even if you slightly off, someone could get hurt. But that just life, the constant struggle for survival.
