Ordinarily I do understand that they need interesting characters. But I’m with you. Suddenly instead of being entertaining and hilarious, it’s just not. I’m just feeling pissed and aggrivated at the stupidity, the entitlement and even sometimes the cruelty and abuse. TLC keeps spinning out new stuff and it’s starting to feel desperate and contrived and overdone. I’m out.
Between that episode and this week’s, I was so frustrated and disappointed in the production and the portrayal of nasty people I did something I’d never done. I FF’d through Jasmine and Gino, and then towards the end I just changed the channel altogether.
I do portrait art and study faces/skin hyper-closely. I can’t even tell you how many “cougars” are straight up lying. (See ‘Miss Debbie’ or Angela.) Even if you make allowances for smoking and sun-worshipping, the NECK NEVER LIES. Crepe-like neck skin, which actually rarely gets full sun, shows aging like a lie detector. (Miss Debbie, “68”, who refers to herself in third-person, is pushing eighty or beyond. A well preserved 80!)
There are so, so many smash n grabs in parked cars on Maui (you know, paradise, right?) at the hundreds of beaches that those who live there keep windows down and valuables in their trunk.

If I remember correctly he gestured to or spoke ABOUT the rose like THREE TIMES in five minute’s time. See? See the rose I got you? See what I did there? I mean, I got you a rose! Look, a rose🙄
