I read this book as a thirty-something year old on a car trip with my husband and four kids. I sobbed, cried quite loudly, at the end of this book. I haven’t read it again, and I’m not sure I ever will, but this book evoked a memorable visceral response that I don’t think I will ever forget.

If I may ask…why???

I’m a teacher, and honestly, my principal would chew me up one side and down the other if I gave this assignment.
