He had a conditional green card, a part of the condition is that he lives at the address stated. He must change the information 90 days before expiration or he will be deported. I’d he had changed the information he would have been eligible for a 10 year green card. I know he can be a jerk, but he is in his son’s lives. And look how the gov allows people to pour into our southern border. Free reign. Free everything. Perhaps that’s a better option. I’m kidding, I can’t support illegal entry.

They are both annoying and wasting each other’s time. I think the amount matters here. I’ll snake 50 from my husband and he from me. We never had a full-on discussion about it, but most often, it’s him, and sometimes he’ll ask if I have cash. We were married over thirty years.
Had it been taking a large amount, then yes, there should be a discussion. She has lied to him from the beginning, overtly or by presenting herself as something she isn’t, he fell in love with that person. Now she’s pissed because that is who he wants.
I cringed over the way she berated him, like a child. Mature loving people would have discussed it, then established boundaries for the future. As I see it, his big mistake was lying. But then again, I get why…
