I remember watching this episode for the first time, I really did just sit in silence. It made me tear up, it captured the anxiety of being somewhere you don’t want to be and being someone you don’t want to be so well and in such a beautiful, artistic way. UGH.
Arrested Development has the same thing where seemingly random plot lines or jokes with no punchline suddenly have a payoff and punchline episodes and episodes later. It’s that same smart humor. However, a LOT of it has not aged well.
