  • I love Nora Roberts’ books and have read everything she’s ever written, but I’m really disliking her latest (like since 2012) releases. Nothing she’s put out since The Witness has grabbed me.

Her most recent release as of today, Inheritance, is chock-full of super choppy writing that’s more dialogue than description, the romance is shoehorned in at like 3/4 of the way through the book, and she repeats so many elements from previous books — she’s even reusing the same names, like Poole, Cleo, Seth, Laine (the main character’s surname is MacTavish, and Laine Tavish was a character in Remember When!), Trey, Bree/Brie, Carly/Carlie/Carlee.
