Honestly I feel like a lot of people aren’t taking the time to appreciate the nuance of Eve’s character. Eve is immensely powerful and there are consequences of that. She can easily and quickly repair buildings, making human construction workers look obsolete. But look at what happened, the building wasn’t properly constructed and people could’ve died. Now her father who has supported her and their family and has worked tirelessly is now basically being told, “why are you working when I can just give you everything you ever need?” Should the dad just accept everything that Eve can provide even though he is a father and husband? Anytime they need money should Eve just make more gold? What about the homeless? Should Eve make them money too? Heck, where should she draw the line. Think about the economic consequences.

My overall point is that Eve is incredibly powerful and if she is to just use her powers however she wants there could be severe consequences.

And finally, I’m not saying I like how Eve’s dad is acting or behaving. But I think his frustration is far more reasonable than this subreddit is giving it credit

Honestly the dads reaction is an awkward one but also understandable. The man spends his whole life taking care of his family and providing for them and now his daughter can snap her fingers and make him and his work completely useless. So like, I can understand the benefit Eve is doing for her family but I think she should also try to understand the situation a bit better. I think the best outcome would be for them to reach some sort of compromise.
