actually, thats not totally true. places like Rojava in syria and the regions of mexico under the control of the zapatistas have a lot of directly democratic elements.

we dont have democracy. we have representation. true democracy is direct democracy, and no country in the world currently operates under that model

i mean, i dont wanna get overly political cos i dont wanna get banned, and im meant to just be talking about the story here, but earth is kinda already run mostly by genocidal maniacs. the various governments of the world, especially the most powerful ones, have killed millions and millions of people in the name of defense, and continue to do so to this day. im not saying rex’s way is the best way, im just saying its better than how it was before

maybe not, but whats done is done. if its working now, i dont see any reason to go back. killing rex and reverting to a worse way of doing things isnt going to bring back any of the heroes who died
