I think a more interesting question is how the current dynamic between Debbie and Cecil affects Oliver’s story. Iirc the tutor was provided by Cecil as she had experience working with super powered children.
But show Debbie just finished rebuking Cecil’s aid as a show of self reliance. Does this mean Debbie will raise Oliver on her own? Does she find someone else?

Iirc there are only so many planets with breathable atmospheres in the rough (flyable) vicinity of earth. If these planets are known to the viltrumites they could have deduced his location that way.
Yes, I agree and the same thought occurred to me while watching episode 4. I feel like it isn’t a given that Debbie will get back with Nolan in the show. From what I can recall, while significant their renewed relationship wasn’t particularly critical to later plotlines (all I remember is the constant sex). Could definitely see the writers going in another direction with the show
TV and comics are different mediums with different strengths and weaknesses. Comics in general will be more dense with information and exposition due to the format. Totally fair to prefer the comic as there’s no way to do a 100% faithful adaptation without bogging down the pacing

He was more conflicted during his fight with Mark than you’re realizing. Nolan started changing before the series started. It’s not as abrupt as you think if you consider that the changes were already happening in season 1. His actions in EP 7 and 8 definitely blurred the lines a bit, but the moment with Mark was supposed to demonstrate that these were feelings he had been trying to bury for a while
