r/books has to be legitimately one of the stupidest subs ever. This constant salivation over banned books is so outrageously stupid. If you can buy it from a retail store it’s not fucking banned. And guess what, just because you think something isn’t appropriate for elementary schoolers doesn’t mean you’re some kind of 1600s puritan burning witches at the stake. I don’t see the utility in having children read books with titles like Dad Has Two Vaginas.
Anna Karenina and Brothers Karamazov, mostly cause of the length and I feel like a big smartie for having slogged through them
