Ha! That reminds me of my mom buying me Anthony Kiedis’ book when it came out because she heard me talking about it and remembered that I liked the RHCP in high school.

But what I was talking about was how skeevy it turns out he is and how apparently open and unashamed about the skeeviness he was in his book. I returned that shit.

In the later books, her writing about coping with real loss is also not saccharine.

Watch the 80s version (like other said, with Megan Follows… It’s the best)! And only then the newer ones.

Also, Road to Avonlea (with Sarah Polley) is charming as well!
