I don’t think this is nice at all. She’s essentially absolving herself of any responsibility for Bojack’s issues and saying that no matter how hard he tries, he won’t ever get better. It’s a really dark moment for Bojack based on lies.

I take these ratings as how good they are as a TV show character, and to be a good character, that doesn’t necessarily mean they need to be a good person or likable. That being said, I think this is the list that I agree with the most out of the ones I’ve seen. I would flip Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter and scramble around a few of the minor characters a bit, but overall I think this one is pretty good.
Yeah I did. I didn’t know what the show was really going to be yet and I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was, so I expected the typical TV show thing to happen. It was this episode and Downer Ending that really hit me hard and got me hooked. Before this episode, I thought it was a fairly amusing show that I would watch for the occasional laugh.
Bojack kills. She found the heroin that was known for causing other ODs and presumably used it.
