I thought like this too, until I saw the fight with the granny Viltrumite. Do you know why he was able to defeat her? It wasn’t just because of Nolan convincing Mark to stop holding back, it’s because of his Viltrumite biology. Every time a Viltrumite gets beaten up and recovers, they get stronger. All of Mark’s beatings from S1 through Ep. 3 of S2 lead him to grow strong enough to beat up a veteran Viltrumite.
1·10 months agoI can’t wait for Mark to start kicking more Viltrumite ass. If he can body an extremely old Viltrumite, then he’s gonna humble all the others when he gets back into shape💪
Two things:
Remember all of Mark’s beatings? Those made him stronger; especially the more severe beatings. So that fight with Nolan, yeah, it beefed him up immensely.
(Idk the validity of this but it would make sense) Adrenaline. Pure Viltrumites don’t have adrenaline. Mark is human, so he does have adrenaline. This means that he gets a huge boost in physical combat, and can overwhelm Viltrumites who don’t have the same ability.
