The Cat From Outer Space novelization, by the same guy who wrote the 1978 screenplay, was one of my favourite books when I was a kid.

Considering how good her song “Turds” is, and how violent her version of “I Saw Three Ships (Some Sailing In)” proved, she should get more musical turns.

Cormac McCarthy’s The Road and No Country For Old Men don’t suffer too much from it, but The Border Trilogy etc. is rife with obfuscation. It’s a violent slog and it doesn’t do anything for me. I realize this sub thinks he’s the eel’s eyebrow, but we differ.
