I want to point out that Disney’s new movie that just came out, Wish, is literally about a “strong diverse woman fighting the patriarchy.” Like, word for word.

And worse, it flopped because it’s basically the same movie that Disney has been making for years, and audiences are tired of it. Like the timing of the opening scene was divine.

If you find yourself agreeing with Cartman then you are being made fun of. Cartman is clearly a piece of shit and always has been.

South Parks most diverse episode and it’s extremely popular. So much DEI in this episode it’s insane and look how well it’s doing! It’s obviously a good show of how DEI can improve a company

Dawg that special was hilarious imo 🤣 calling out exactly what needed to be said, Disney even tried to stop this from airing which is hilarious. I love South Park so much

I can’t stop laughing. This is one of the best (long) episodes ever in my opinion, because they have the balls to go after the inclusive actors and the filmstudios try to be woke.

Personally i hate that woke kind of shit and specially in the movies. Wouldn’t it be funny to do a ww2 movie where Hitler is black? Besides that, what is your opinion guys? Do you think movies are getting too inclusive?

I love pander-Butters rendition of the iconic apples song! And the same scream and fear of Mr. Stoch. 😆

I enjoyed it. Wasn’t particularly groundbreaking, but was quite funny and definitely more interesting than the previous special. Shame we didn’t get to see more of the alternate universe, the episode could’ve done with 10 or 20 minutes more for that. But I’d prefer that it was its current length, rather than artificially stretched into a two parter

I feel like the randy subplot could have been it’s own episode and that way they could have given more time to the people in the alternate universe

Incredible “event”. Covered so many topics perfectly. I think my only issue with it is that while it made amazing points it wasn’t necassarily that FUNNY while doing so. But entertaining as hell!

I like that the diverse Cartman was actually funny. Like setting up the computer just to play Baldur’s Gate and calling Kyle’s mom a fat bitch.

Unlike so many modern characters that are just hitting the diversity quota with nothing to offer but cliches and end up pushing stereotypes even more.

I loved that too. I did find myself thinking that I wish Cartman still said and did some of the stuff diverse Cartman was saying and doing to show she is just like Cartman. I found myself a little nostalgic for an older version of Cartman. Like the “na na na na na na ha ha ha ha ha ha” and the Kyle’s mom’s a big fat bitch, and the farting, saying “butt fucker,” etc. Overall, I truly enjoyed diverse Cartman.

This is what truly takes this special to the next level. By bringing in a ton of diverse voice actors without compromising the essence that makes the show exceptional, they skillfully incorporated these differences to craft even funnier lines. Diverse Cartman genuinely felt like the genuine Cartman throughout the entire episode and then solidified it through the Baldur’s Gate gag.

Trey and Matt basically put this together as a fuck you to Disney “this is how you add diversity without sacrificing characters and telling an interesting story”

Not really. They parodied the trend of raceswapping characters instead of creating new ones, and then calling the audience racist for noticing (just like PC principal did).

It works in South park because it’s a comedy and the nonsensical nature of the situation is a perfect fit for an episode, but you probably wouldn’t watch a whole season of this where all they did was raceswap the characters and didn’t use that as a joke but actually went with it.

Wait WHAT? That’s what you took away from this and not the fact the joke was shitting on Disney just replacing characters with minorities without changing anything?

That was the whole point of the Spider-Man line. He’s cool because he’s different and has backstory. Black woman Cartman is stupid af because it’s just black woman cartman.

I’m kind of amazed how you could get that so wrong.

That was just scratching the surface. That’s so obvious that even those with IQs below 80 got it. It’s so evident that it hardly requires mention.

They did good with Diverse Cartman, but the DiverseVerse still felt a bit too different. It was more, I guess, “urban” than the main universe, and that kind of undermined the main message. Thankfully it wasn’t in focus too too much.

On the topic of voice actors…

Did anyone notice the voice of the Latino handyman that stopped in front of the Home-Depot? The recording of that guys voice sounded subpar… it sounded like it was recorded on the street or something. Idk…

My only complaint is the rest of the Diverse Boys kind of got sidelined. They all had really good designs, so I wouldn’t have minded seeing them be more prominent.
