🤣😂 Paranoid much? Christians read books too, you ignorant moron.

That’s literally what the DD is. Sorting by genre / topic. Maybe learn what you’re arguing against before you argue against it.
That’s very frustrating! I’ve been to public and Christian schools in my time and all have valued reading highly! I don’t understand some people who don’t value it, especially educators.
I wonder if you can try and get a “drop everything and read” program going? I loved that in grade school. Or scholastic book fairs? Surely someone at that school has to feel the same as you. What kind of teachers don’t value reading?
You’re overthinking this. Read what you want. I’m 44 and I read everything from Babysitters Club to Stephen King. As long as you’re enjoying it, that’s what matters.
I just ignore his older self published stuff. Everything from Wayward Pines on is very consistent and good. There’s a reason that older stuff never got traditionally published.
Yeah that’s called growing up. Everyone experiences that. We all change tastes and expand what we consume as we grow up.
If you mean, could they become something you value and prize like jewelry or other wealth, then yes of course. Anything could be that for a person.
Her tv show was fairly entertaining. 🤣 I kept watching it like a train wreck wondering how a grown woman could have so many excuses for why her life kept not turning out.
She definitely has a massive victim complex, you’re very correct about that.
I switch it up. Switch genres. Switch formats. Audiobooks are great when I’m in a funk. Or I’ll get out an old nostalgic favorite like Babysitters Club. No one says adults need to only read adult books, I always say. 🤣😂 And if you just want to play video games for awhile that’s fine too. Nothing wrong with taking a break from reading.
This. If meandered way too much in the middle of the book. The beginning was great. The ending was great. The middle was painfully slow.
I agree. Jump the end as he’s escaping from the dungeons. That’s when it finally got a plot and hooked me. If I remember right that’s about at the 60 or 70% mark.
It was about 200 pages too long. Seriously the entire middle could go and it wouldn’t affect the plot at all. I enjoyed the beginning bit and the end as he’s escaping but the entire middle was so so so so boring. One long boring journey. I’m glad you enjoyed it, but I need a plot in my books.
I just enjoy the journey. You’re overthinking this.
Don’t care. They’re a cheaper way to get the books usually. I just throw away the box. Don’t overthink it.
Best thing you can do is enjoy reading yourself. My nephews love reading because their parents and myself (aunt) and grandparents all love reading and do so for fun. They see us enjoying it and naturally want to enjoy it too.
You don’t want him thinking this is something he should do just to please you. Stop pressuring him to post online. If he wants to, great, but don’t make this about what you want. That’s not a way to get anyone interested in anything.
I was reading Anna Karenina recently, written/set about a hundred years ago, and I was surprised how modern it felt. People are still people and problems are universal.
Yeah. They’re supposed to be. That’s how humans are. Most of us are neither entirely good nor entirely evil. The series would be a lot more boring if everyone was one-sided.
No. I read pretty every kind of book. Just depends on my mood.
I’ve only seen the movie and it was awhile ago, but yes I believe so.
