I really love the soap box of family drama. It’s so riveting to hear about eves family bitch about groceries. Or watch the main characters’ mother sell a house and talk about her feelings for 20 minutes over multiple scenes. I’m not saying this isn’t important, but dear God, isn’t there an entire race of alien invaders on the way? Isn’t there more interesting things to talk about rather then watch an awkward slice of life drama that has little to no superhero stuff in it.

Episodes have weird slogs throught the episode. Any time two characters are talking to each other I roll my eyes. Pacing is all over the place and it hard to stay engaged /:
