You read The Graveyard Book in highschool English? 😮 That’s a curriculum I can get behind! That’s super awesome to hear

I read Enders Game in middle school and loved it, then I found out Enders Shadow was all from Bean’s perspective and couldn’t motivate myself to follow the same story from a character I actively disliked (for dumb kid reasons).

A few weeks ago (~20+ years later) I thought about Enders Game and decided to give the series another shot. I blazed through the Shadow series and now I’m [impatiently) awaiting Speaker for the Dead to be returned to the library!

Despite Orson Scott Cards heavy handed and contrary social/political beliefs bleeding into his writing, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the interweaving stories about world politics and strategizing. That said, I’m really excited to get back to Ender and the sci-fi side of things!
