Good god. I am about to ban books as gifts for me. I haven’t had a good one in, 15 years. Maybe 20. I love books, but not one has been anything remotely interesting to me, or even worth reading. Just silly or stupid shut.

Worst gift for me, was definitely the cake I got one year for my birthday. It’s in December, so still qualifies, unfortunately. Other December baby’s understand. It was a carrot cake. I look over at my dad and I’m like, that’s your favourite cake, not mine.

Sorry about your Grandma. Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts.

There are people who do this with TV shows as well. Simpsons is a big one, so is Friends and Seinfeld.

My go to books are the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn. Actually rereading them right now. It was the first set of books that really helped expand the Star Wars universe, and very well done too. Thrawn is one of the few characters that made it from the previous published material into the Animated and now live action shows.

Well, i like covers that jump out. Which is really hard to do.

Shane Jones‘ Light Boxes. That was a lovely impulse buy, and I still love the cover art, which stopped me dead in my tracks.
