And later he feels so bad about it, and he regrets it so much, because he will never form a proper relationship with that beautiful woman again! From a piece on a cover I had read before starting the book, it seems that later he is very sad and disappointed when she doesn’t love their child. Assuming from what had already read, there was no way she would sleep with him willingly so the child must have had been concieved with rape.

The Witcher. I’m polish, so it’s kind of a national treason not to read Sapkowski’s books, but his writing is just so awful for me, like there was no talent, just an idea put into the least creative sentences.
