Everyone hit the nail on the head but I would also add that because it took so long for mark to get his powers it meant that getting mark on his side was also going to be tricky. Mark wasn’t an impressionable dumb kid who can be molded into what he needed him to be.

I’m not gonna stop watching the show if they don’t recast them so they might as well keep them on.

Yeah I’m pretty sure they’re going to do it it’s literally all set up and everything. It would be pretty silly to have him heal himself when you could of just had him not get injured that badly to begin with.
