I really liked her descriptions of the natural world, her characters and dialogue…not so much

It just seems like recently they primarily award it to authors whos’ main theme is memory or historical memory
I think literary fiction is a good move for you. If you liked Fourth Wing there is no reason to pick up Great Expectations or Moby Dick right away
