I liked both books but preferred Glass Hotel. Sea of Tranquility is good but Glass Hotel feels more complete for back of a better term.
I would say Tranquility is closer to Station Eleven thematically. One of the main characters in Tranquility is a stand in for Mandel and her experience after writing Station Eleven.
I made it a few pages into “Book of Night” before I gave up because the writing style just wasn’t for me.
