I feel like what we’re seeing from him is the effect from weeks and weeks of her bad attitude. She was shitty to his family and now won’t spend time with them. She isn’t trying to learn the language–which would be a great use of her time and make sense with her living there. I see him trying to stay calm to keep her calm, but if he doesn’t say what she wants him to say, she goes nuts. I see him as fed up and regretting his choice.
