Truthfully, I thought she had a lot of patience especially when they were burning literal shit & sprinkling piss in the house. I think she’s a a basket case at times, but I haven’t seen her do anything that should equal this amount of hate (at least that I remember) . She was literally saying she was depressed and TJ didn’t do a single thing but gaslight her into going back to America and told her it was her own fault. His family seem insufferable & I’m sure most people on here wouldn’t be able to deal with that. Sharing a space with a brother & stepmom who are condescending and rude and demand you to do things that wasn’t planned would make me scream too.

I honestly thought she was a title fruitcake when they showed the scream out of context in the ‘coming this season’ clip but in context I feel sorry for her.

I also would not be willing to cook and clean for 3 grown adults with no help from any of them, he should have married a Hindu like his brother just said.

I am not sure why she agreed to live there. You can live close and visit. She could have gone to school to learn the language and meet people.

In one of the last episodes, during the end of the wedding celebrations, TJs family is praying together and the closed captioning literally said bring us wealth and fame.

OP I couldn’t agree with you more! TJ omitted on TV that he purposely did not tell her about the responsibilities that she would have to entail the rest of her life that speaks volumes. The mother is a bitch and Yash is a condescending mama boy jealous of TJ imo I don’t think a lot of American women or anywhere, would be able to live in that sect of that Hindu culture, especially when they were told in advance.

They just shouldn’t have gotten married. She wasn’t very appreciative of how much he contributed to making their own place. And he didn’t tell her the full expectation of what was to happen after they got married so now she’s being bombarded with all this stuff she wasn’t informed about.

She should’ve just let him go whenever he tried breaking it off.

The thing is, don’t these people research where they’re going?? She’s complaining because she can’t go out because she doesn’t speak the language, but why didn’t she consider that BEFORE moving to a whole different country??? Did she not know he was going to have to work?? It’s like they don’t even weigh the pros and cons of making this life changing decision. Kimberly needs to learn self reflection and humility otherwise she’ll never have a successful relationship. These are things a supposed "spiritual " person should know.

I am sure there is plenty we don’t see. I doubt this was the first time Kimberly complained to TJ. I see how TJ is caught in the middle. The family is never to going to forgive or forget how Kimberly acted when she first arrived. Short of learning their language & being 100% subservient they are never going to accept her. And TJ is never going to choose her over his family. Go home Kim.

This is how I see it too. It’s a bad situation for everyone. They’re incompatible.

She had so many reasonable good points and I’m absolutely on her side. But she has uncontrollable rage to a dangerous extent. It’s very important in life to learn to self regulate emotions or else this will get worse and she will hurt herself or someone else. There are 1000 other better options in any conflict then throwing your head back and horror movie screaming. And how quickly she escalates from normal (albeit difficult) conversation to explosive rage is scary

She doesn’t seem like someone I’d enjoy being around, but uncontrollable rage? She let out a loud scream of frustration when he was going out of his way to belittle her. To me uncontrollable rage would be her physically attacking him, or ripping a bunch of things off of his car, or slamming a cake into his face because she was mad, and yes I’m deliberately pointing out Angela’s behavior here. It wasn’t a great look for Kim, but it also felt understandable that she was fed up with him at that point. Walking away and screaming into a pillow would have been a better approach, but he also just runs away if she isn’t actively trying to get him involved in a conversation. She wasn’t violent, in spite of the number of comments on this one talking about how many people wanted to reach through the tv and smack TJ during that scene, and she only screamed and it wasn’t even at him because she looked up and let out the scream. That doesn’t feel like someone who is out of control at all, that felt like letting off steam to avoid losing her temper and trying to continue the conversation without descending into insults and personal attacks. She threw out a well deserved mama’s boy kind of insult when he went running to his mommy to complain, I mean come on if you’re old enough to get married you’re old enough to have a disagreement without involving your mother in it. Running away yelling for his mommy was by far the more immature response out of the two of them.
