What’s the difference between YA and Adult Novels? Pretty sure the only difference is the age of the main characters.
Just because a book doesn’t have explicit sex scenes, descriptions of extreme gore, and constant swearing doesn’t mean it isn’t an Adult Novel.

For the first two books the plot is pretty much just something to string together sex scenes. You don’t read ACOTAR for plot, you read it for smut. If you aren’t into that then it’s just not for you. Fourth Wing and Iron Flame are so much better at having a plot where shit actually matters and it’s an interesting story that happens to have very graphic sex scenes.
