Why is this comment so far down? It’s such a bad book, I have no idea how anyone could think this is a classic that everyone should read.

Catcher in the Rye. It’s such a bad book. Its badly written, the story goes nowhere, and quite frankly it’s boring to read. It’s considered a classic but I have no clue why. I think it’s the only book I actively detested while reading it.
