Is there a reason why some shows have mid season breaks? Gravity Falls did that all the time and it’s super annoying, unless they’re still working on it?

It sucks that they improved Amber in this season only >!to have him date Eve later in the comics. Not sure if he’s gonna cheat on her or if they just break up as I haven’t read it but I heard he ends up with Eve instead!<
