Okay context how did they actually get together or be in a relationship?

Remember that all Kates are Kate. We’re both told that and shown that they all … well … climax … at the same time. And that’s fun and funny. But alongside that we have the fact that Kates are slaughtered by the dozens in even a simple Klaxan invasion. Each of them experience the pain of death, over and over and over again. And it’s all happening to one person.
Immortal and Kate bond over this. He’s lived a lot longer than Kate, but he hasn’t even come close to dying as much as she has.
It’s not an HR problem. It’s a WTF story fun time.
Honestly Kate and Rex both suck. Cheating on a partner is just terrible in general, no exceptions.
Kate and rex were not dating
Kate honestly reminds me of my ex in college.
She had all these rules for me when we were dating but a completely different set of rules for herself. If I talked to another woman I was emotionally cheating on her but if she banged a dude she met at the club it wasn’t as bad because it was just sex.
I reflexively hate Kate because she reminds me so much of my ex. Ugh.
To be fair, Kate is like what, 18? 19? Immortal is thousands of years old.
Rex is totally in the wrong, but at the same time there’s something icky about this relationship.
It’s not even just the age thing too, he is also basically her manager. And that in itself is not really okay
Especially when you count the fact that he’s her boss.
There’s definitely a bit of an issue (especially considering the power dynamic of him being her boss), but that’s definitely not what Rex took issue with lol

But the oldest person on earth isn’t, like, 20 or whatever Kate is.
Can’t wait to see this sub when Rex’s backstory is revealed.
Hoping we get an Atom-Eve level special for Rex’s past, but I’d settle for a flashback scene in Invincible as well. Depending on how fast events play out we could see his backstory this season

Honestly. I dislike Kate much more than I dislike Rexplode. Rex at least had the traumatic backstory of his dad selling him for a steak dinner and did show remorse for what he did to Eve. He still sucked but he still capable of being a sympathetic character
Kate was incredibly callous with how she told her close friend’s boyfriend and was always very toxic and hypocritical with how she treated Eve.
People forget that Kate also betrayed Eve. They were super close and had been friends for a long time.
Kate dies all time. Every time one of her copies dies she feels it. Might explain the callousness. Maybe she didnt use to “die” as much before?

Nah Kate did nothing wrong (in the show). When she helped Rex cheat she thought they broke up.
Easily same. The whole dynamic was so stupid. “I helped you cheat on my close friend, then cheated on you. You’re still the bad guy tho” Then the “My life sucks so I win the argument” right after.
Kate seems fine in the show
Imagine growing up in the 21st century and then banging Abraham Lincoln with a bunch of your clones. Wild.
Other than the age difference, I take just as much issue in Immortal also technically being Kate’s boss. Too much of a power imbalance, even if the relationship is mutually agreed upon.
I like the immortal, i dont care about his ship with kate, but him putting rex in his place is gold
