If you started the comics from where the show left off I think it would confuse you a bit, while the plot stayed mostly the same, the show changed the order in which they adapted stuff.

It only works cause Omni-Man is significantly stronger than him. You’ll see how he can’t do that all the time later in the show.

Personally I liked the comics version more, what bothered me about this episode is that Invincible is FAR too strong, he should not be able to keep up with veteran Viltrumites at all, and theres no “I am ENRAGED” :(

However, the animation, voice acting, soundtracks were SOOO amazing holy shit. And it was such a good idea to expand upon what Nolan did after he left earth.

But overall it was rushed imo, too many subplots, just focus on Thraxa.

Definitely the show, it’s mostly the same stuff but expanded upon and more detailed

when i first read this it made me feel exhausted and anxious the same way mark would have felt during this scene, hope they do it justice!

To me Invincible FINALLY begins now, this is what the comic is about, feels good to finally get off earth.
