this is a tough question, but i will say “my year of rest and relaxation” by Otessa Moshfegh. that tells me they are not only a reader, but they read contemporary literature and dont mind a bit of a fucked up story. and liking that book gives off just the right ratio of cool, weird, and smart vibes that i like in a partner
