  • It’s interesting to me that they were willing to basically call him a POS for wanting to send money to his kids and that $300 is just asking way too much. They seem like the same type that would be bashing a baby daddy for “only sending $300 a month for two kids” or whatever. $300/month for a family is really not that much. It can be a lot to budget so I can see where they’re coming from, but it’s for his kids. Idk.

  • What drives me nuts is she’s not understanding what he means by buying a car or a house. He doesn’t want to throw away money on rent for the apartment or car when they could be investing in something to own. Someone mentioned that Danielle doesn’t have the credit for that or something, which would make sense. Yohan is no angel but I completely see where he is coming from. This “The Other Way” season is so dragged out that people are forgetting what Danielle has promised/said in the last or forgotten some of her shittier moments. Originally, they were to move to NY where Yohan could work. Now that he can’t work because she doesn’t want to go there, he is holding her to her word on her saying that she could provide a much better life for them in the DR than in NY. And she keeps changing it I feel like. First it was “I can afford way more on my American dollar here than in the US!” but now it’s “pay half of this ridiculously expensive place I picked out!” when he was content with living at home. Idk. She just frustrated me. Again I’m not saying Yohan is some perfect dude or whatever, but there was an “understanding” when they got married and she has flipped it. I mean she didn’t even tell him they weren’t going to the US until she moved to the DR. Like completely blindsided him.

  • Fr. I miss the original 90 Days. Partners were actually here on a K-1 visa and we went along for the ride to see if they get married or not. Before the 90 Days was okay because it covered what happened before the K-1. The other way was interesting when it stayed true to the “are they actually going to marry” narrative.

The current season of 90 Day doesn’t seem to have anyone in the US on K-1 besides scripted drama Gino and Jasmine. Nikki is in Moldova, Rob doesn’t have Sophie in the US on a K-1, and honestly I’m lost on the others.

Last Resort bothers me for the same reasons you mentioned. And a lot of it just seems they’re grasping at straws, with the drama rehashed from the couples’ pasts or embellishing. I know people have talked about new production teams, Discovery buying some shares in it, but it’s totally changed. Half the time, I don’t know why I’m still watching. I guess because there’s nothing else to watch? Or I’m hoping they return to the original narrative of the show? Idk but it’s ass. Especially with The Other Way only being 45 min vs 85-90 min. It’s almost annoying to watch bc I forget what’s even happening, and most of the episodes is filler with “coming up” bits. I feel like I’m getting 25 min of content with 20 minutes of recap and coming up filler.
