Isn’t it just the angle? He’s closer to Mark for that second frame. The shadow on his forhead changes to show that too. Also at first his chest is like straight on, and then it shifted so that were looking upwards a little bit at it.

I think this was just Krieg getting closer to Mark and the shadows making it wierd.

This + I think they’re going to add in “Allen’s regenerative nature was slowed by our machines to fake the death, i pulled the plug so he can regrow stronger like he’s supposed to naturally.”
