I’ve never understood the people who say that Nate’s downfall, or personality change, or whatever you want to call it, happened out of nowhere and all of a sudden - it was foreshadowed so many times and in so many ways through the first two seasons! Subtly, but very obviously. The earlier commenter went into brilliant and explicit detail about this.

I know precisely how you feel. I had watched - actually, rewatched - Guardians of the Galaxy 2 not long before I saw the last episode of Ted Lasso, and I felt so cheated out of what should have been a very emotional (manipulative, sure, buy still) moment because I sat on the sofa going, okay, I JUST heard this song in something else I watched. And then I was both disappointed and distracted.
