Bojack did bad things more or less on accident, and felt extreme remorse all the time. Eleanor? Not so much, she was purposely mean spirited and unkind to humor herself and never felt remorse at all until she realized hell was real.

Most would prolly be Herb, and not bc of the show thing or never calling him (although that counts in this too) but bc Bojack couldn’t accept that they could be friends again without the forgiveness. I think that’s what Herb was getting at. They got a long decently well at dinner, and Herb was happy to see him and then Bojack ruined any chance of continuing the friendship once more by demanding forgiveness. And then he died.
