Yes, I see it first hand with my employees often. Here’s one for you. This happened a couple months ago, my Assistant Manager called to tell me the portable AC unit was broken. When I got to work, 3 more employees told me it was broken. I asked if anyone had checked the circuit breaker. They all looked at me like I had 3 heads.

A couple of weeks ago, I got to work and the employees told me the kegerator was broken. The draft beer wasn’t cold. I guess someone had unplugged it to charge their phone the day before.

I have to train them on the most basic problem solving.
