To me, sarper is a simmering hot head, with evil right below the surface. I would take him at his word when he speaks like he does to her, and I’d leave. She’s in her 40s, old enough to know what she sees is what she gets, and I don’t mean the sexual gratification. That stops being pleasurable after you are belittled so often.
