And therein lies the problem. It was exactly the same as the first one. He didn’t even really try to come up with anything new.
You didn’t miss much. The whole thing was basically a retread of the first one. It was like he had a list of pop culture references he didn’t get around to using the first time so he crammed them all into the second book.
