I get what you mean, and I have seen some comic spreads from this fight, where Mark is getting totally whooped but Nolan is beating his guy. From everything I’ve seen, we’re supposed to feel like Mark is in way over his head. Like we should be terrified of the Viltrumites, like we did when they obliterated Allen the episode before. Ultimately I think they just made the lady seem too weak. Mark focuses and starts beating her for a period of the fight. Which can happen for a moment, but too much of the fight was leaning towards Mark

I do think Mark did a bit too well in his fight, but I agree that the Viltrumites didn’t look weak. In the end, the lady was about to kill Mark before Nolan rescued him. It did still feel like Mark got a few too many good hits in on her - she seemed pretty exhausted and hurt just from Mark, which I don’t think should be happening

Yeah why wouldn’t they? We just saw one Mauler survive the explosion. It seems natural that the next clone would be able to deduce that he’s the close, given that his body would be perfect and the original would be scarred
