They went full Gandalf vs the Balrog with the sea monster. It seemed odd that the fight scene just ends after Mark is taken down to the depths.
That was weird I’m glad I wasn’t the only person to notice
To be honest I feel like they should have just cut the scene of him getting grabbed. The pacing in the episode was already pretty fast (especially in the scenes with the guardians), it didn’t need another little twist like that.
they could’ve added a line about waking up on the other side of the planet or something, that was just odd
