Is the Kate and immortal stuff weird, yes.But can people stop acting like he forced himself on her or abused his power.Kate even says she’s happier with him than Rex.He might be a 1000 years old but everyone is young to him.No one talks about omniman and Debbie when they’re age gap is similar.The way Kate said it they seem to be in a happy relationship and until proven otherwise or immortal does abuse his power there’s nothing wrong.

Also the reason he’s so hard on the guardians is because he kind of needs to be, because compared to the old team they’re terrible and struggling. The guardians were the earths greatest team know they’re just about doing the job. If Cecil is worried you know there’s a problem.It’s not the best way but it is necessary.

Some say he’s the worst member on the team but may I remind you that Rudy the former leader took a clone body of his teammate, made a child version because the girl he liked was attracted to it. This is way more messed up.Also Rex cheated on eve for no reason and Kate has slept with two members of the team.Half the team is messed up.

    It is definitely an abuse of power since he is technically her boss and there is an unbalance of power. If an organization found out a boss and his employee were having sex, you can bet H will step in.

    Honestly, when one sees these kinds of arguments, it’s hard to take the author seriously. Age gap? Who the f*ck cares about the age gap? No one minds if a 61 year old wants to date a 41 year old, even though there is a 20 year gap.

    The same doesn’t apply when it’s a 38 year old wanting to date an 18 year old (to keep it within consent range, obviously it’s much worse otherwise), because there is a much more material relationship imbalance. An 18 year old has barely finished high school, doesn’t know themselves well and can be much more easily exploited by someone with more knowledge, experience and resources, especially if it is someone who represents an authority to them (like Immortal is to Kate, since he is her leader)

    Their characters will literally have like 5 or 6 combined scenes going forward throughout the entire series tbh. Theyre so unimportant it means nothing
