Hey! I was re-watching Bojack Horseman and I was wondering if you guys think that Peanutbutter might’ve put the bucket on his head on purpose because Bojack was digging his own grave despite his appearance of believing it was going well (thumbs up when princess carolyn disapproves) I was wondering what the consensus of this was as it changes / foreshadows his later actions and his awareness of how bad they are.

I do agree with you. I think PB is more nuanced and intelligent than a lot of people give him credit for, and I honestly think a lot of what can be chalked up to his “blunders” are actually along this line, either to draw attention away from a trainwreck like this or just lighten the mood, or change the topic, etc. And I think it’s all intentional. Or at least mostly intentional.

Still can’t figure out the pasta strainers tho.

100%. Plus he definitely had a sly malicious streak, like when he passively called out Princess Carolyn at Herbs funeral by making her elaborate on her claims of knowing Herb and making her tell those stories she made up.

He 100% did it on purpose to distract everyone from the trainwreck of Bojack’s “reconciliation” with Neal and stop their conversation before it gets even more embarrassing.
