Ok so as someone with a 5 year degree in Architecture from the Philippines and handled multiple projects from small scale residential in the province to high rise condo towers in the city, that house is nowhere near USD50-60k. It is at best php 1m.

Not only isn’t the house worth that much, but it sounds impossible that Brandan could saved 50k in 2 years anyway

Why does this constantly come up? He said he sent her all the money he made and lived off of a small “allowance” that he gave himself. From what I recall, he worked on a landscaping crew and did odd jobs. It is pretty easy to send $2k per month to your gal when you are living off of a pittance, all while being gainfully employed.

What makes me skeptical is what he said the house cost. It didn’t cost 60k, unless Mary completely scammed him. He also said he lost a number of jobs because of Mary

While being on the phone 24/7? That seemed to have started pretty early in their relationship.

Right. Even $2k a month would take 3 years to send $60k. He admits to losing multiple jobs during that time. There’s just no way.

I hope he didn’t actually spend 60k. With that kind of chunk he could have put like half down on a condo that he would be the legal owner of.
