I shudder to think what that apartment smells like! There are a total of four animals, right? The ick I would get once that door opened and the smell hit me 🤢

I petsit two guinea pigs and the the only smell I ever noticed is the hay smell. It’s not any worse than having rabbits or rats as pets. I’m sure my cat’s litterboxes smell worse.

They’re not bad if you clean their cages. I did notice he didn’t have the usual saw dust or wood chips or whatever that they usually have in their cages. When I had one, he enjoyed digging in it, so I hope his guinea pigs are ok without having something to dig down into.

It depends. I had a ferret who never liked any of the traditional ferret bedding. She just never used it. I used old t shirts and small dish towels and she loved cuddling up in them.

Kind of weird, but I didn’t complain because obviously it’s way easier to clean

That is not usual or good for Guinea pigs. Fleece is safer and cleaner you just change them out frequently. Wood chips smell more too.

they do. i never noticed a smell with my 2 boys, but i changed the fleece in their cage at least once a day and did a big clean once a week. the only smell i really remember was the hay lol. they are sweet though so it was worth it. my older boy was so cuddly and wanted to be near me 24/7.

Playing dress up dolls with guinea pigs, holds and handles them even while they’re vocalizing he’s annoying them. And the way he talks to them and the dogs.

    Bless his heart.

This. Even if you are super tidy, there will be a smell because it’s so contained. They are not super tidy…

        Word. 🤘🏽

I find it selfish when these 90 Day Fiancé folx bring their significant other into their mess over here. As if life is not hard enough.

I’m not saying one must be rich. But some basic needs are basics. 😆 For instance, a clean home like you said. Gino’s place also looks discussing. 🤢

Yeah, we had our guinea pig and rabbit in our utility room during winter- it shredded mine and my dad’s chest due to the smells (especially the ammonia) despite very regular cleaning. And our house was a 4 bed detached!

Yeah, can’t think of a rodent that doesn’t have some type of smell. Plus those dogs don’t look like they are accident free either. They are so old they have to be pooping and peeing in the place.

I thought it was my OCD talking but I definitely was obsessing over the potential smell. I was surprised she didn’t say anything upon arrival.

I had 2 Guinea pigs and their area never smelled because I did daily poop cleanup for their cages. They also got a monthly bath. In his first episode he did say his dog needed a bath so maybe that’s a good sign he’s aware and likes to keep them clean. He seems like a nice kid, but his mom is going to be a problem…probably a much bigger one than the piggies & dogs

But come on people. The girl even said they had it backwards - all the space for the animals and mom is in a closet? Who cares about the smell when there is no couch?

I’m more okay with the Guinea pigs than his mom in the closet like fr his mom has gotta go. She brought way too much crap with her

What is her deal? Is she disabled? I know housing prices are insane, but is her plan to live in the closet with her son and his wife indefinitely?
